This Cookie Policy explains how Sciome World Corp., a.k.a. hipPitch ("hipPitch," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you access or use the hipPitch platform, website, and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, User Agreement, Usage Policy, and any other notices or policies made available through the Platform.
By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies and similar technologies as described in this Cookie Policy where consent is legally permitted to be inferred from use. Where applicable law requires affirmative consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will request that consent through an available cookie banner, consent-management tool, device permission, or other appropriate mechanism.
If you do not agree to the use of non-essential cookies or similar technologies, you may adjust your browser, device, or consent settings as described in Section 6 below. Certain strictly necessary technologies cannot be disabled where they are required for core Platform functionality, security, authentication, fraud prevention, subscription verification, or compliance.
Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device, such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet, when you visit a website or use certain Platform features.
Cookies and similar technologies allow the Platform to recognize your browser or device, maintain sessions, remember preferences, support security functions, and improve the user experience.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as:
Web Beacons: Small transparent image files embedded in webpages or emails that may be used to measure activity, delivery, or engagement.
Pixel Tags: Small code elements that may be used to measure actions, conversions, page visits, or campaign performance.
Local Storage: Browser-based storage mechanisms used to retain information across sessions.
Session Storage: Temporary browser storage that is generally cleared when a session ends.
Software Development Kits (SDKs): Code integrated into mobile applications that may support analytics, authentication, crash reporting, security, communications, purchase verification, or other Platform functionality.
Device Identifiers: Identifiers associated with a device, browser, application installation, or operating system that may be used for analytics, fraud prevention, security, and functionality.
Application Storage: Local application data used to remember preferences, login state, settings, content state, or other information required for mobile application functionality.
Server-Side Identifiers and Tokens: Identifiers used by hipPitch or service providers to maintain sessions, verify requests, manage subscriptions, enforce security, or prevent fraud.
All references to "cookies" in this Policy include these similar technologies unless otherwise stated.

Examples of what these technologies may do:

Measure profile views, Pitch views, Long Pitch engagement, and feature usage;

These technologies may be set by hipPitch or by third-party service providers that support Platform functionality.
We may use cookies, identifiers, local storage, server-side tokens, SDKs, and similar technologies to help detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to:
Unauthorized Account access;
Spam or automated abuse;
Fraudulent activity;
Malicious or suspicious behavior;
Attempts to evade suspensions, bans, blocks, or other restrictions;
Repeated policy violations;
Abuse of reporting or moderation systems;
Security threats;
Invalid, revoked, or fraudulent subscription entitlements;
Other activity that may threaten Users, third parties, or the Platform.
These technologies may also help maintain records needed to support moderation, User reports, blocking, Account enforcement, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
If you connect your hipPitch Account with a third-party service such as Google or Microsoft, those providers may use their own cookies, SDKs, authentication tokens, or similar technologies.
These technologies may be used to:
Authenticate your identity;
Enable sign-in or Account linking;
Maintain secure authentication sessions;
Return authorized profile or Account information to hipPitch.
Third-party authentication technologies are governed by the applicable provider's own privacy and cookie policies.
hipPitch does not control how independent third-party providers use their own technologies.
The Platform may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, hosting, communications, security, fraud prevention, customer support, moderation support, or other operational purposes.
Those providers may use cookies, SDKs, identifiers, logs, or similar technologies to perform services on our behalf.
Depending on the service and configuration, these technologies may collect information such as:

Application version;
IP address;
Usage events;
Crash or diagnostic information;
Session information;
Security signals;
Interaction information.
Where such providers process personal information on our behalf, we require them to handle the information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.
When Users access hipPitch through iOS or iPadOS, Apple may independently use device, App Store, Apple Account, transaction, subscription, or similar technologies in connection with downloads, In-App Purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and entitlement management.

Measure campaign performance;
Understand referral sources;
Attribute conversions;
Limit repeated advertising;
Provide marketing that may be more relevant to Users.
Where legally required, we will request consent before using non-essential advertising or marketing cookies or similar technologies.
On mobile devices, certain advertising or tracking activities may also be subject to operating-system permissions or privacy settings.
hipPitch does not sell cookie-derived personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

Account identifiers;
Session information;
Report timestamps;
Content identifiers;
Device or application information;
Security or abuse-prevention signals.
This information may be used to investigate reports, enforce Platform rules, remove objectionable content, restrict Accounts, prevent repeat abuse, and maintain appropriate moderation records.
Cookies, application storage, Account data, or other identifiers may be used to apply and maintain blocking preferences.
Where applicable, these technologies may help ensure that:
A blocked User's content no longer appears in the blocking User's feed;
Direct interactions are restricted;

Attempts to circumvent blocking functionality can be detected.
Cookies and similar technologies may support moderation and enforcement systems used to:

We do not sell cookie-derived personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Where information collected through cookies or similar technologies is shared with service providers, it is shared for purposes such as operating, securing, supporting, analyzing, moderating, or improving the Platform, subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.
Where required by applicable law, hipPitch may provide a cookie banner, consent-management interface, or other mechanism allowing Users to accept, reject, or manage certain categories of non-essential cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies may continue to operate because they are required to provide requested services, secure Accounts, maintain sessions, prevent fraud or abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
You may change available cookie preferences through the Platform's consent controls where such functionality is provided.
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings.
Depending on the browser, you may be able to:
Receive notifications when cookies are set;
Block some or all cookies;
Delete cookies already stored;
Restrict third-party cookies;
Clear site data;
Control local storage or tracking preferences.
Please note that disabling or blocking certain cookies — particularly strictly necessary cookies — may affect Platform functionality and may prevent you from accessing features such as Account login, security verification, privacy preferences, User blocking, or Paid Plan services.
For guidance on managing cookies, refer to your browser's help documentation.
Examples may include:
Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies;
Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security;
Safari: Settings or Preferences > Privacy;
Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
Browser interfaces may change over time.
On mobile devices, operating systems may provide privacy controls for application tracking, advertising identifiers, permissions, analytics, or other device-level functionality.
You may be able to manage these settings through your device's privacy, tracking, advertising, application, or permissions settings.
Changing device-level settings may affect certain Platform features or third-party service functionality.
Users of iOS or iPadOS may have access to Apple privacy controls that affect certain tracking, advertising, analytics, or application permissions.
hipPitch will use Apple-provided tracking or advertising identifiers only where permitted by applicable law, Apple's applicable requirements, and the User's device settings or permissions.
Apple Account, App Store, and In-App Purchase functionality may continue to operate independently of advertising or tracking preferences where necessary to provide purchases, subscriptions, security, or entitlement services.
Where we use third-party analytics services, you may have options to limit or opt out of certain analytics collection through:
Cookie consent controls;
Browser settings;
Device privacy settings;
Settings offered by the applicable analytics provider;
Platform privacy settings where available.
Certain limited analytics or diagnostic information may still be processed where necessary for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, or essential service operation.
Some browsers provide a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting.
Because there is no single universally accepted technical standard for DNT signals, the Platform may not respond uniformly to DNT signals.
Where applicable law requires recognition of specific browser-based opt-out preference signals, hipPitch will take reasonable steps to comply with such legal requirements.
Session cookies are generally deleted when you close your browser or end a session.
Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire, are deleted, or are otherwise removed.
Retention periods may vary depending on the purpose of the technology.
Examples include:
Strictly Necessary Cookies: Retained for the duration necessary to maintain sessions, security, consent records, anti-abuse functions, or other essential Platform operations.
Performance and Analytics Cookies: Retained for the period reasonably necessary to generate meaningful usage and performance information, typically up to twelve (12) months unless a different period is required by the applicable provider or operational need.
Functional Cookies: Retained for the period reasonably necessary to remember preferences, typically up to twelve (12) months unless otherwise required.
Security and Fraud Prevention Data: May be retained longer where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, prevent fraud, detect repeated violations, protect Accounts, or comply with legal obligations.
Moderation and Safety Data: Certain identifiers or records associated with reports, blocks, suspensions, or Account enforcement may be retained as reasonably necessary for safety, policy enforcement, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or prevention of repeat violations.
Purchase and Subscription Data: Transaction, subscription, and entitlement records may be retained as reasonably necessary for billing administration, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Cookie-derived information is also subject to the data-retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The Platform is not intended for Users under the age of eighteen (18).
We do not knowingly use cookies or similar technologies to collect personal information from children under eighteen through the Platform.
If we learn that an individual under eighteen has used the Platform in violation of our eligibility requirements, we may take reasonable steps to suspend or delete the Account and associated information, subject to applicable legal obligations.
If you believe we have collected cookie-based or device-related information from an individual under eighteen, please contact us at privacy@sciomeworld.com.
Cookie data and information collected through similar technologies may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States.
These countries may have privacy or data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards designed to protect information transferred internationally.
International transfers are also governed by the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

If a change requires consent under applicable law, we will request such consent before using the relevant non-essential cookies or technologies.
