hipPitch allows Users to create, upload, publish, communicate, and share User Content.
Depending on your privacy settings and how you use the Platform, certain User Content, profile information, Pitches, videos, comments, reactions, or other information may be visible to other Users or to people with access to a shared hipPitch URL.
You should not upload or publish information that you do not want others to see where the relevant feature is public or shareable.
To help maintain a safe Platform, hipPitch may use automated systems, technical filters, machine-assisted tools, human moderation, User reports, administrative review, or a combination of these methods to identify potentially objectionable, abusive, fraudulent, illegal, or otherwise prohibited content.
As part of this process, User Content and related Account information may be analyzed or reviewed before or after content is published.
Automated systems are not perfect, and human review may be used when appropriate.
If you report or flag User Content, an Account, communication, or behavior, we may collect and process information related to the report, including:
Your Account information;
The reported User's Account information;
The content or behavior being reported;
The reason for the report;
Relevant timestamps, identifiers, technical information, or Platform records;
Information you voluntarily provide to support the report.
Reports may be reviewed by authorized hipPitch support, moderation, safety, administrative, or legal personnel.
Where action is warranted, hipPitch may use report information to remove content, restrict features, suspend Accounts, permanently ban Users, prevent further interactions, preserve evidence, or take other appropriate action.
When you block another User, hipPitch may process information about the blocking event, including the Accounts involved, the date or time of the block, and related Platform information.
We use this information to apply the block and restrict relevant interactions.
Where applicable, the blocked User's content may immediately stop appearing in your feed after the block is processed, and messaging, comments, reactions, profile interactions, recommendations, or other interactions may be limited.
A blocking event may also be reviewed by our moderation or administrative team where it is associated with a report, safety concern, or suspected policy violation.
We may maintain records relating to reports, moderation decisions, removed content, warnings, suspensions, blocks, bans, appeals, safety incidents, and related communications where reasonably necessary for:
Enforcing our policies;
Preventing repeat violations;
Detecting attempts to evade suspensions or bans;
Protecting Users;
Preventing fraud or abuse;
Handling legal disputes;
Complying with legal obligations.
Access to such records is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate need to access them.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
Public Profile and User Content: Your profile information, videos, Pitches, comments, reactions, and other User Content may be visible to other Users or people with whom you share content, depending on your privacy settings and the applicable Platform feature.

Apple and Other Application Stores: Information related to an In-App Purchase or subscription may be exchanged with Apple or another application-store provider as necessary to process, verify, restore, manage, refund, revoke, or otherwise administer purchases and subscription entitlements.
Payment Providers: Where permitted purchases are processed outside an application store, relevant information may be shared with payment processors and billing providers necessary to process and administer the transaction.
Moderation and Safety: Information may be shared internally with authorized support, moderation, safety, administrative, or legal personnel when necessary to review reports, investigate abuse, enforce our policies, or protect Users and the Platform.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, court order, subpoena, regulatory request, or other lawful governmental demand.
Safety and Protection: We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of hipPitch, our Users, third parties, or the public; investigate fraud or abuse; or respond to an emergency.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred subject to applicable law.
With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or provide your consent.
We require service providers that process personal information on our behalf to handle the information in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.
If you use the iOS or iPadOS version of hipPitch and purchase a subscription, premium feature, or other eligible digital service through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
The payment transaction is processed by Apple through your Apple Account;
Apple may collect and process billing and payment information independently under Apple's own terms and privacy practices;
hipPitch may receive transaction, product, subscription, entitlement, renewal, expiration, refund, revocation, and related status information needed to provide or remove access to paid features;
hipPitch does not receive your complete payment card number or full Apple payment credentials from Apple;
We may use Apple-provided transaction or subscription information to verify purchases, activate premium access, maintain subscription status, restore eligible purchases, detect invalid or revoked purchases, and provide billing support;
Purchase and entitlement records may be retained as reasonably necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, subscription administration, and legal compliance.
If you request a refund for an Apple In-App Purchase, Apple generally handles the refund decision and may notify hipPitch of the resulting transaction or entitlement status.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, misuse, or loss.
These measures may include:
Encryption of data in transit and, where appropriate, at rest;
Secure authentication and access controls;
Access limitations based on job responsibilities and legitimate business need;
Security monitoring and logging;
Regular software and security updates;
Technical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access;

Appropriate contractual protections with relevant service providers.
However, no method of transmission over the internet, electronic storage, or information-security system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
